Northeast Regional Cancer Institute

The Wayne County Community Foundation awarded a grant to the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. With the grant, the Cancer Institute will provide Wayne County residents with one-on-one phone counselling/education about the importance of cancer screening. The target population for this effort is low-income uninsured and under insured Wayne County residents. The Mission of the Northeast Cancer Regional Cancer Institute is to ease the burden of cancer in NE Pennsylvania. The Institute was founded in 1991.
