WCCF Gives Grant to Red Cross

Recently, the Wayne County Community Foundation presented a grant to the American Red Cross of the Pocono Mountains.  The award will be used tosupport their "Sound the Alarm" campaign.  This project teaches people about homefire prevention, installs smoke alarms, tests existing smoke alarms andassists families to create home escape plans.  In Wayne County, this programwill target 100 homes to participate with the Red Cross of the Pocono Mountains.  Shown in photo L. to R.:  Crys Robinson, Red Cross and JohnCarmody, Chairman of the WCCF Grants Committee
