BK Invitational Golf Classic
The Wayne County Community Foundation salutes the "BK Invitational Golf Classic" celebrating its 19th year. Held on September 30, and October 1 at Woodloch the tournament founded by Bob Kiesendahl raises money to support cancer research at the Fred Hutchinson Institute and Penn State. To date Bob, and his team have raised $1.2 million dollars. We are especially pleased and proud that the Foundation is both a sponsor and now a partner with the "BK Hope Cures Fund" recently established with us. In addition to the golf tournament, the BK Hope Cures Committee holds an event on Oct 21st in support of the Susan B. Komen Foundation; a 5K run in the Spring and other ongoing events help at the Woodloch Resorts.
