13th Annual Herd the Curd Race Raises $25,000
For the Michael J. Bryant Memorial Fund
Event Contributions Reach $204,000 since Inception

The families of Calkins Creamery proudly announced that the 13th annual Herd the Curd 5K and 10K raised $25,000 for the Michael J. Bryant Memorial Fund, bringing the event’s total contribution to $204,000 since its launch in 2013.

This year’s race drew nearly 375 runners and walkers to the scenic Highland Farm, continuing a tradition of community support and spirited competition. Top finishers in this year’s race included Lewis Smith of Honesdale, PA, who claimed the men’s 5K title with a time of 22:53, and Marykate Grady of Pleasant Mount, PA, who led the women’s 5K with a time of 25:41. In the 10K event, Kevin Nolan of Philadelphia, PA, successfully defended his men’s title with a time of 39:38, while Tiffany Leventhal of Honesdale, PA, earned the women’s 10K win, finishing in 47:31.

The success of Herd the Curd would not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Many individuals and businesses have contributed year after year, with several supporting the event consistently for all 13 years.
